Boracol : Teak decks and much more.

Boracol is used to kill and treat algae and black moulds on a yachts teak decks. The treatment is so very easy to do. It's is simply brushed onto the teak then you walk away allow the Boracol to dry and that's it. The green algae will die away very quickly, and the black mould spots will slowly fade away as the Boracol does its job.

Boracol is different from other so called magic cleaners as it contains Boron. This is where the deep long-lasting cleaning effect comes from. The Boron is fixed deep into the timber and slowly releases minute amounts of Boric Acid. These tiny amounts have a mild bleaching effect that continues over several months after treatment. That’s why decks treated with Boracol keep looking better and better.

Boracol can also be used on decking, patios, fencing and garden furniture. Anywhere there is algae growth. The Boron will also stop rots in your timber so extends the life of all treated timbers.

Our Boracol is approved by the HSE so you know it's going to work!I

Boracol 10Rh is what Hallberg Rassy recommended for teak decks this was before the laws were changed by the EU. We developed Boracol 5Rh so the general user could continue using this amazing product. Boracol 10Rh was now only available to trade/ commercial use. We have trailed the 5Rh and it is also a fantastic product for treating teak decks and algae growth on most surfaces.

Our Boracol 5Rh contains the same amount of algicide as the 10Rh the difference is the level of Boron. The 5% Boron difference is so slight there is very little difference between how the products work. Boracol 5Rh is not half strength for treating algae!
