How to treat and eradicate Woodworm

Mild damage - treat with Borotreat 10P dissolved in water
Moderate damage - de-frass & treat as above, and with Ecobor II Gel
Severe damage - cut out damaged sections, repair and treat with Borotreat 10P , Ecobor II Gel and insert Boron Rods.

How to treat Death Watch Beetle

1. Probe and drill to check the extent of the decay to ensure timbers are suitable for treatment

2. Remove frass, cut and rake out decay to leave sound timber only

3. Make repairs to re-establish the shape and structural integrity

4. Inject Ecobor II through the emergence holes or via predrilled 3mm diameter holes, using a Microdrill Adapter

5. Apply Ecobor II by brush to all surfaces, including end grain.

6. Check annually until no more flight holes appear. Re-treat if further fresh activity appears
